Catalytica Energy Systems Inc, a leading provider of innovative NOx solutions for combustion-related applications in the power generation and transportation industries, reported financial results for the three and nine months ended 30 Sep 2003. Revenues for 3Q 2003 were $1,107,000, compared with revenues of $1,497,000 for 3Q 2002. R&D expenses decreased during 3Q 2003 to $2,661,000 from $3,489,000. The significant reduction in operating expenses during 3Q 2003 contributed to a 20% decrease in net loss to $3,116,000 from a net loss of $,3896,000 in 3Q 2002. Net loss for the nine months ended 30 Sep 2003 was $11,151,000 compared with a net loss of $14,433,000 in 3Q 2002.
