Classification schemes for nonoscillatory solutions of a class of nonlinear two-dimensional nonlinear difference systems are given in terms of their asymptotic magnitudes, and necessary as well as sufficient conditions for the existence of these solutions are also provided.
This paper is concerned with boundary value problems for systems of nonlinear thirdorder three-point differential equations. Using fixed-point theorems, the existence of positive solutions is obtained.
We prove the existence of positive solutions to the scalar equation y (x) + F (x, y, y ) = 0. Applications to semilinear elliptic equations in exterior domains are considered.
