Abstract

An N‐way combiner that provides low‐valued load impedances for FETs is presented. The combiner comprises periodic loops of transmission lines with moderate valued characteristic impedance. Its area is directly proportional to the number of FETs to be combined. For application in class‐B amplifiers, even‐harmonic suppression is considered. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
