Citizens Banking is a multibank holding company, which directly or indirectly owns four banking subsidiaries and four nonbanking subsidiaries, with total assets of $7.71 billion as of Dec 31 2003. Co.'s subsidiary banks are full‐service commercial banks offering a variety of financial services to corporate, commercial, correspondent and individual bank customers. These services include commercial, mortgage and consumer lending, demand and time deposits, trust services, investment services, retirement, and other financial products and services. Citizens operated 176 branch, private banking, and financial center locations throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois as of Dec 31 2003.
