Inhaltsu È bersicht. Kristalle von cis-(Me 4 Sb) 2 [Ph 2 Sb 2 I 6 ] (1 a) entstehen durch Umsetzung von PhSbI 2 und Me 4 SbI in Ethanol/Petrolether. In Ethanol/Aceton bilden sich Kristalle von trans-(Me 4 Sb) 2 [Ph 2 Sb 2 I 6 ] ´Aceton (1 b). Die Ro È ntgenstrukturanalysen zeigen, dass 1 a und 1 b aus tetraedrischen Kationen und aus dimeren Anionen mit der Geometrie von kantenverknu È pften tetragonalen Pyramiden bestehen. Die beiden Phenylgruppen befinden sich bezu È glich der I 2 SbI 2 SbI 2 -Ebene in apicalen cis-(1 a) oder trans-(1 b) Positionen. Die Acetonmoleku È le in 1 b sind nicht koordinierend. cis-trans-Isomerism in (Me 4 Sb) 2 [Ph 2 Sb 2 I 6 ] Abstract. Crystals of cis-(Me 4 Sb) 2 [Ph 2 Sb 2 I 6 ] (1 a) are formed by reaction of PhSbI 2 and Me 4 SbI in ethanol/petroleum ether at ±7 °C. In ethanol/acetone crystals of trans-(Me 4 Sb) 2 [Ph 2 Sb 2 I 6 ] ´acetone (1 b) form. The X-ray crystal structure analyses reveal that both isomers consist of tetrahedral cations and of dimeric anions with the geometry of two edge sharing tetragonal pyramids. The phenyl groups possess apical cis (1 a) or trans (1 b) positions relative to the I 2 SbI 2 SbI 2 plane. The acetone molecules in 1 b are non coordinating.
