## Abstract This article first presents a compact circularly polarized single patch antenna. The radiating structure consists of a square patch with embedding four bent slots to reduce the overall dimensions. Circular polarization is obtained by feeding the patch with 90Β° phase shift between two pi

β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
A highβgain circularly polarized microstrip antenna array is proposed using spaceβfed configuration. In planar arrays, the design of feed network to generate circular polarization becomes extremely complex. The proposed configuration eliminates the feed network, which gives high efficiency and gain. Simulated and measured results are presented. Β© 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 52:2221β2223, 2010; Published online in Wiley InterScience (www.interscience.wiley.com). ## Abstract A 20 GHz 2 Γ 2 subarray radiator of microstripβfed cavityβbacked circularly polarized horn is presented. Since horn antennas incorporating waveguide types of circular polarizers have big size of radiator height, microstrip feeding and polarization is proposed and cavityβbacked introduce
