Its old plant covers a floor area of 7000 square feet; the new facility will cover 25,000 square feet. Its workforce will be increased from 10 to 15.

Accel is considering incorporating Polytech's liquid colorant technology at its own existing plants -at Knoxville, TN; Avon, OH; and Naperville, IL. Altogether these three units employ 110 people. At present, about half of Accel's production is based on polyethylene, polypropylene and polystyrene.
