Mucous membrane pemphigoid (MMP) is an autoimmune blistering disease frequently associated with scarring of involved clinical sites. At present, therapeutic intervention in the form of immunomodulating or immunosuppressive agents is often reserved until the onset of significant inflammation and/or e
