By means of alloimmunization of mink, two new antigens, Lpm-7 and Lpm-8, were detected in their sera. Lpm-7 and Lpm-8 allospecificities were referred to a very high density alpha2-lipoprotein (Lpm) by the following criteria: histochemical tests, immunoelectrophoresis, preparative ultracentrifugation

✦ Synopsis
In order to increase the available data on chromosomal polymorphism of Drosophila prosaltans, 15 strains were studied. A new inversion was found and additional information related to the distribution area of previously described inversions has been obtained. A survey of the cytological data accumulated to the present, referring to 33 strains, shows that D.
prosaltans is not highly polymorphic at the chromosomal level. Although 14 inversions have been found in this species, most strains are monomorphic or are polymorphic with 1 or 2 inversions.
The frequency of individuals carrying the inversions detected in 5 strains shows that in 4 cases the heterozygous condition predominates. An average number of heterozygous inversions varying from 0.8 to 1.8 per individual was detected in these strains.
