The use of polyacrylamide gel filtration for the separation of nucleosides and l nuclcotides was reported recently -4. In earlier work19 2, the nucleosides and nucleotides were separated in two different groups, and other methods had to be used in order to obtain further separation. In a more recent work3, the separation of oligouridylic acid by the use of Bio-Gel P-z at elevated temperature is described; this separation is attributed to differences in molecular weight and absorption.
