✦ Synopsis
A chromatographic
method is described for the determination of carbon monoxide at concentrations below 1 ppm. The setting of the instrument permits interfering components (oxygen, nitrogen and water) to be separated before the sample enters the chromatographic separation column. The conversion of carbon monoxide into methane is used for its detection with a flame ionization detector.
