## Abstract Fresh pullet eggs (White Leghorn Strain) were incubated to obtain the primitive streak stage of development. Blastoderms were fixed in situ with isotonic aldehyde fixatives and prepared for scanning electron microscopy by means of postosmication, critical point drying and goldβpalladium
