The purpose of this study was to improve the availability of production equipment by selecting the best maintenance management method. Corrective maintenance, systematic preventive maintenance and conditional maintenance costs are compared and the Weibull law is used to represent reliability and evaluate maintenance costs. Finally, an example is presented from a flow show factory, and the maintenance servise is shown to be more efficient through better organisation and fewer costs.
