In Japanese) In this method, the fly ash is treated by adding of an oxidizing acid to the ash and heating the mixture at >lOO"C to decompose the dioxane. The fly ash may be extracted with water or HCI before the oxidation treatment. Platinum or palladium may be used as catalyst for the oxidation and
