## Abstract The adsorption of five acid dyes onto chitosan, derived through the deacetylation of crab‐shell chitin, from aqueous solutions was studied. The equilibrium isotherms were measured and analyzed with the Langmuir, Freundlich, and Redlich–Peterson equations; the results correlated well wit
