This book is a mine of information on the rehabilitation of the cancer patient. Many and varied opinions are discussed in some detail. Some surgeons prefer to see to the rehabilitation of their patients themselves, while others prefer the use of a separate rehabilitation department.

For the rest they seem to elect to have rehabilitationists spread through all clinical departments. When all is said and done, it is the surgeon himself who should supervise the after-treatment of his patients, whatever that after-treatment may involve.
