Social workers have a crucial role in these applications which requires our attention. This article attempts to explore and define this role.
Effects of sexuat abuse
Child protection practice has uncovered the enormity of the effects of sexual abuse and we must use this accumulated knowledge to make comprehensive applications on behalf of children. In particular, survivors have enhanced our understanding of its complexity. As we search for new techniques to aid the healing process , we continue to be disturbed by the horror of their experiences and their lasting impact. Sheila was physically and sexually abused by her father for 14 years and describes the effect.
