β¦ Synopsis
If you are a master or stronger, you might enjoy some of the world-class tactics featured in this book. I am rated 1936 and it is still above my level. I also don't like the organizaiton of the book, and prefer just diagrams like in Sharpen Your Tactics. For me this book was a waste of money.
For mere mortals, there are far better choices, like Sharpen Your Tactics, Chess Tactics for Juniors, The Complete Chess Workout, and Practical Chess Exercises (which I love, but it is more about all aspects of the game. It is also not a beginner's book. I recommend it for 1700+.)
