## Abstract All‐__trans__ retinoic acid (atRA)‐loaded microspheres severely induce inflammatory responses after microsphere implantation. Fibroblasts and a thick band of fibrous capsule resulting from the inflammatory responses could hamper drug permeation to the bloodstream because fibroblasts act
