✦ Synopsis
Abstract
Preparation of 1, 1‐difluorobenzocyclopropene (4) and of its 2, 5‐ and 3, 4‐dideuterio derivatives 4a and 4b is reported. Upon ionization in cold fluorosulfonic acid, 4 affords 1‐fluorobenzocyclopropenium ion (6). ^1^H‐ and ^13^C‐NMR. spectra of 4 and 6 are assigned on the basis of the data for the specifically deuteriumlabelled compounds 4a and 6a. Hydrolysis of 6a leads to 2, 5‐dideuteriobenzoic acid (7a).

## Abstract ^1^H and ^13^C NMR spectra of 22 2‐substituted 4,5‐dimethylfurans are reported. The __J__(C, H) values were used for signal assignments and for the identification of geometrical isomers of some derivatives.
The 17O, 13C and 1H NMR spectra of a number of 1,2-dialkoxyethenes R1OCHxCHOR2 were recorded. The O atoms, in particular those of the E forms, are strongly shielded relative to the 17O nuclei of the corresponding alkyl vinyl ethers Moreover, in compounds of the type ROCHxCHOMe, the di †er-ROCHxCH 2
H and 13C N M R spectral data for several imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazines were determined. The chemical shift assignments were based on HETCOR and COLOC spectra for some model compounds.
