α-Vinylation of Tertiary Active Hydrogen Compounds.

-A new and simple method for the introduction of an α-vinyl substituent to active methine compounds such as (I) using a simple alkylation-dehydrohalogenation procedure is developed. Scope and limitations of the procedure are studied. -
