Yttrium(III)-Containing Tungstoantimonate(III) Stabilized by Tetrahedral Capping Unit, [{Y(α-SbW9O31(OH)2)(CH3COO)(H2O)}3(WO4)] 17-. -Na16(NH4)[{Y(α-SbW9O31(OH)2)(OAc)(H2O)}3(WO4)]•48H2O (I) is synthesized from a mixture of Na9[α-SbW9O33], YCl3, and Na2WO4 in a LiOAc/AcOH buffer (pH: 5.3, 80 °C, 60 min; addition of NH4Cl solution, 23% yield). (I) is characterized by single crystal XRD, FTIR, and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy. The compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma with Z = 4. The title polyanion is composed of three α-SbW9O33 units linked by three Y 3+ ions and a tetrahedral capping unit.
