X-Ray Diffraction Study of Lead-Tellurium Alloys Prepared by Rapid Quenching (10 7 -10 8 K/s).

-Rapid quenching of Pb-Te alloys results in the formation of novel metastable crystalline and glass-like phases. Among other products, a novel phase with cubic, face-centered structure (γ-phase) and solid solutions based on tellurium are found. Lattice parameters of some solid solutions derived from tellurium and metastable γ-phases are determined. -
