Abstract

In the presence of RuCl~2~(bipy)~3~, ascorbic acid, 1,5‐dimethoxynaphthalene, and visible light the title compounds undergo mild and efficient dehalogenation to afford alkenes, alkynes, monobromides, and ketones.
