Intramolecular Ketene Additions Leading to Concise Syntheses of Cyclohexenones.

-Treatment of various vinylcyclopropyl selenyl esters according to A) yields cyclohexenone derivatives via 6-exo-dig radical cyclizations involving ketene intermediates. Additionally conjugated substrates such as (VIII) and (X) do not form the expected cyclooctenones, but substituted cyclohexenones. -(HERBERT, N.;
