-A novel synthetic approach to 2,5,6-tri-(V) and 2,5,5,6-tetrasubstituted 5,6-dihydropyridines (IX) is presented involving the reaction of lithiated allenes (I) and (VII), respectively, with title isothiocyanate (II) followed by thermal electrocyclization. -(NEDOLYA, N.
