Vanadium Oxide Clusters as Building Blocks for the Synthesis of Metal Oxide Surfaces and Framework Materials: Synthesis and X-Ray Crystal Structure of [

-Single crystal XRD results for the novel mixed-metal oxide of title, (III), reveal a three-dimensional framework structure composed of transition metal building blocks (cubic, space group Pn3, Z = 2). The extended structure consists of spheres of V 19 O 46 clusters, each linked by six µ 2 -Mn(H 2 O) 4 bridges thus forming a complex framework with tunnels and cavities occupied by lattice water molecules.
