Ultrasound Promoted Synthesis of α,α'-Bis(Substituted Furfurylidene) Cycloalkanones and Chalcones.

-The main advantages of the use of ultrasound are milder reaction conditions, higher yields (e.g. 85 and 94% compared to 10 and 15% for (IIIa) and (IIIb), resp.), and shorter reaction times.
