✦ Synopsis
Tunable and Rapid Crystallization of Phase Pure Bi 2 MoO 6 (Koechlinite) and Bi2Mo3O12 via Continuous Hydrothermal Synthesis. -Phase pure nanoparticles of Bi2MoO6 and Bi2Mo3O12 are prepared in a continuous hydrothermal flow synthesis reactor from solutions of acidified Bi(NO3)3 and basic H2MoO4 with Bi:Mo ratios of 2:1, and 2:3, respectively, using supercritical water of 375-450 °C at a pressure of 24.1 MPa as a crystallization medium (82 and 86% yield of Bi 2 Mo 3 O 12 and Bi 2 MoO 6 , respectively). The prepared materials show significant photocatalytic activity towards the decolorization of methylene blue in comparison to a commercial gold standard pho-
