Total Synthesis of the Pentacyclopropane Antifungal Agent FR-900848.

-Starting with asymmetric cyclopropanation reactions the corresponding fatty acid is built up. It is coupled with the nucleoside amine to yield the title compound (I), identical with the natural product.
