Reactions of 5-Alkylidene-4,5-dihydro-3H-1,2,4(λ 3 )diazaphospholes (4-Phosphapyrazolines) -A Route to Various P-Heterocycles and to 2-Phosphabutadienes.

-The title diazaphospholes have a much higher thermal stability than their analogues without the exocyclic double bond. On thermolysis, in most cases extrusion of nitrogen occurs and P-containing heterocycles are obtained that are difficult to obtain otherwise. The thermolysis occurs different depending on the substitution pattern, mostly in competing reaction pathways. -(MANZ, B.;
