The System Bi2O3/BiBr3.

-The phase diagram of the title system is presented. The ternary phases BiOBr, Bi4O5Br, Bi24O31Br10, Bi3O4Br, and Bi12O17Br2 are prepared in the temp. range 600 to 850 โ€ข C and characterized by XRD and IR spectroscopic methods. The enthalpies of formation and the standard entropies of the solid phases are given.
