The New Vanadoborate-Supported Hexanuclear Zinc Complex [Zn(teta)]6(VO)12O6B18O36(OH)6•8H2O. -The new title compound is hydrothermally synthesized from a mixture of V2O5, ZnSO4, H3BO3, teta (teta: triethylenetetramine), pyridine, and H2O (autoclave, 145 °C, 6 d, 73% yield). The compound is characterized by XRD, IR, and UV/VIS spectroscopy. It crystallizes in the trigonal space group R3 with Z = 3. The structure contains [(VO) 12 O 6 B 18 O 36 (OH) 6 ] 12-clusters decorated by six [Zn(teta)] 2+ groups and centered by a water molecule. -(LIU, X.;
