The First Total Synthesis of Pyralomicin 2c.

-The first total synthesis of the title compound (XI) to confirm its absolute structure is described. Key step is the N-glycosylation of the aglycone (VIII), which in turn is available via coupling of the pyrrole (I) with the benzoyl chloride (II).
