Synthetic and Mass Spectral Fragmentation Studies on Trisubstituted 2H-Pyran-2-ones and Comparative EIMS Behavior of Biologically Active 3,5-Disubstituted Pyrazoles and Isoxazoles.

-Pyranones (I) and (II) are synthesized and their mass fragmentation pattern along with X-ray structure are studied in detail. In addition, a comparative EIMS investigation of isoxazoles (III) and pyrazoles (IV) is reported. -(
