## Abstract New type pyrazol‐3‐yl‐isoquinolinium hydrochloride (**8a**) and tetrazol‐5‐yl‐isoquinolinium (**8b**) zwitterions were synthesised. Their structures were proved by ir, pmr, cmr, ms spectra as well as X‐ray diffraction analysis of model compounds.
