1998 indole derivatives, isoindole derivatives indole derivatives, isoindole derivatives R 0140 26 -149 Synthesis of Nitrogen and Sulfur Analogues of the seco-CI Alkylating Agent. -In continuation of the recently published first seco-CI derivatives title compounds such as (XIV) and (XVI) are prepared. Compound (XV) is an intermediate of a second presented approach to (XIV) which starts from 4-chloro-3-nitrobenzoic acid. Seco-CI derivatives are used for the preparation of the minimum potent pharmacophore of antitumor antibiotics, e.g. CC-1065 and the duocarmycins. -(TERCEL, M; DENNY, W. A.; J. Chem.
