Synthesis of 3,3'-Diacryloylamido-4,4'-dihydroxybenzophenone.

-Reaction of 3,3'-diamino-4,4'-dihydroxybenzophenone (I) with acryloyl chloride provides regioselectively the N-acylated product (III), which represents a useful monomer for the synthesis of optically sensitive, thermostable polymers. -
