β¦ Synopsis
Synthesis of 1,2-Dihydroisoquinolines by the Reaction of Isoquinoline with Allyltributyltin or Silyl Enol Ethers in the Presence of N-Acylating Agents.
-Isoquinolines (I) react with allyltributyltin or silyl enol ethers (V) in the presence of acylating agents (III) to give the 1,2-adducts (IV) and (VI), respectively. Application of the enantiopure acylating agent (VII) provides a d.e. of up to 87%.
