Synthesis, Crystal Structure, Vibrational Spectra, and Normal Coordinate Analysis of K2(OsCl5(CO))•H2O. -The title compound is prepared in 80% yield by bubbling CO through a refluxing 37% HCl solution of K2OsCl6 prereacted with metallic Ag. K2( OsCl5(CO))•H2O crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with Z = 8 (single crystal XRD).
