Abstract

The copper‐deficient title compound La~3~Cu~5‐x~Te~7~ (x = 0.07, 0.14, 0.12) is synthesized from the elements (graphite crucible in a sealed silica tube, 1073 K, 14 d) and characterized by single crystal XRD, electrical measurements, and LMTO band structure calculations.
