Synthesis, Characterization and Antibacterial Screening of Metal-Substituted N-Phenyl-3-methyl-4(4'-sulfonamoyl)-phenylhydrazonopyrazolin-5-one.

-A new series of phenylhydrazono-pyrazolinones (I) and their Cu(II) as well as Co(II) complexes are synthesized and screened in vitro for their antibacterial activity. Most of these compounds, especially the copper-complexes, show good antibacterial activity.
