Synthesis and Antiinflammatory Activity of Some New 6-MethoxyΞ±-methyl-2-naphthalene Acetic Acid Derivatives. -Compounds of type (III), (IV), (VI), (VIII), (IX), and (X) are tested for their antiinflammatory activities and show some activity. Compound (IXa) is more potent than naproxen which is used
