Synthesis and X-Ray Crystal Structure of K 4 PbTe 3 •2(en).

-The single crystal XRD of (III) (space group P1, Z = 2) shows a structure similar to Pb 2 Te 2-3 , but with one of the Pb atoms absent. The trigonal pyramidal PbTe 4-3 anions and four of the five crystallographically distinct K atoms form a "layer" in the a-b plane. These layers are bridged by K atoms and en molecules.
