Preparation and Conformational Properties of 1,8-Bridged Fluorenophanes. -In order to investigate their physicochemical properties different derivatives of the title compounds such as (VI), (VII), and (IX) are synthesized. The structures of compounds (VIIa) and (IX) are determined by X-ray analysis.
