β¦ Synopsis
Synthesis and Structural Characterization of Two-and Three-Dimensional Fluorinated Indium Phosphates.
-Two novel fluorinated indium phosphates, (InPO4F(Hen)) (I) and ( In5P4F3O16(H2O)2(en)3) (II) are prepared hydrothermally using ethylene diamine as templating agent in a fluoride-containing system. Their structures are determined by single crystal XRD. (I) (monoclinic, P21/ c, Z = 4) has a low-dimensional framework with monoprotonated (Hen)+ groups pendant to InPO4F layers. Chains of corner-sharing In octahedra are linked by phosphate bridges forming In4P2 rings. The three-dimensional framework of (II) (orthorhombic, Pbam, Z = 2) consists of ( In6P4) rings spanned by en bridges. Fluoride, which bridges exclusively between In ions, forms linear or bent bonds. -(DU, H.; CHEN, J.;
