Synthesis and Reactivities of 1-(Isocyanomethyloxy)benzotriazole as a New Source of Isocyanomethyl Synthon.

-The title compound (IV) serves as a new source of isocyanomethyl synthon. The reactivity of (IV) towards aldehydes (V) is as high as that of tosylmethyl isocyanide (TOSMIC).
