✦ Synopsis

Synthesis and Psychotropic Activity of Novel 2-Pyrrolidone Derivatives.

-The synthesis of some novel 2-pyrrolidone derivatives bearing an isopropoxyphenyl residue (IV) and (V) is presented. The most promising biological profile is observed for the derivative (IVb) which possesses tranquilizing, antispasmodic and antiamnesic activity.
