Synthesis and Properties of N-2,3-Epoxypropyl Derivatives of Imidazoles, Benzimidazoles, and Bisbenzimidazoles.

-Reaction of the azoles (I) and (IV) with 1-chloro-2,3-epoxypropane gives the corresponding epoxypropyl derivatives (III) and (V) in high yields.
