✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Phase formation in melts of the title system at fixed Cs/P molar ratios of 0.7, 1.0, and 1.3 with constant ratios of Ca/P = 0.2 and M^III^/Ca = 1 is characterized by powder XRD and FTIR spectroscopy.

The crystallization of alkali-earth phosphates in the melts of Cs 2 O-P 2 O 5 -M II O (M II -Ca, Sr, Ba) pseudoternary systems have been investigated at various Cs/P molar ratios and at fixed value of M II /P equal to 0.15. Type of the phosphate which crystallizes in melts depends on the Cs/P initia
